Thursday, October 25th, 2007: 2007 FL Bronze Arm Named
The 2007 Freedom League Bronze Arm winner is Demarion Rhodes of Denver Diamond Demons.

He started 35 games and compiled a 23-6 record with an ERA of 1.96 in 252 innings with 354 strikeouts.

The SION Baseball Writers Association will honor all of the award winners this weekend at its annual meeting.
Sunday, September 30th, 2007: Denver's Rhodes Earns Triple Crown
If Demarion Rhodes doesn't win the Bronze Arm this year, someone's going to call for a recount! Demarion wrapped up one of the rarest feats in baseball -- the pitching triple crown! He topped all pitchers in the Freedom League in wins, strikeouts and ERA.

In 35 starts, Rhodes lead the league with 23 wins, 354 strikeouts and a 1.96 ERA. His won-loss record was 23-6 for the year.
Friday, September 14th, 2007: Stingrays Holds Diamond Demons Scoreless
Jack Holcomb of the Seattle Stingrays was in command from start to finish in his 9-0 shutout win over the Denver Diamond Demons. He struck out 6, walked 0 and allowed 3 hits.

"I felt strong the entire game," Holcomb said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."

Holcomb has posted a 7-7 record in 2007 with a 4.09 ERA. Teams are hitting .234 against him and he has rung up 118 strikeouts in 132 innings.
