| Breaking News |  | Thursday, October 11th, 2007: Boston Signs SP Starcher to 3-Year Extension
Pilgrims representatives confirm that they have reached a contract settlement with Keith Starcher and that the 35-year-old starting pitcher will stay on at Plymouth Rock Park for at least 3 years.
This year-to-date Starcher has 15 wins and 12 losses and a 2.71 ERA.

When it came to hitting the baseball, Floyd Medeiros was in a class by himself in the Freedom League this past week. Nobody did it better.
The outstanding center fielder for Boston tagged opposing pitchers for a .526 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 1 homers, 6 runs scored and 10 RBIs.
In his season totals, Medeiros has 32 home runs, .231 BA, .371 OBP, 89 RBIs and 83 runs scored. He has played in 149 games.

 | Wednesday, September 19th, 2007: Alaska Befuddled by Caudell
Chris Caudell of the Boston Pilgrims was masterful today, pitching a 1-hit 7-0 shutout against the Alaska Pipeliners and giving his bullpen a rest by going the the distance.
According to his manager, "He had command of every ball and every pitch . . . great location, too." Caudell had 12 strikeouts and issued no walks in an impressive outing.
So far this season Caudell has 17 wins and 3 losses and a 2.36 ERA.
